Web Search

Give local AI models the ability to search the web. This skill is specifically for AIs that don't have built-in search — like Ollama, NemoClaw, and other local/sandboxed models.

Note: Cloud AIs (Claude, Gemini, Codex) already have native web search built in. They don't need this skill.

What you can do

  • Search: Query DuckDuckGo, Brave, or Google from the command line
  • News: Get current events and recent information
  • Weather: Check weather for any location
  • Docs: Look up documentation and technical references
  • Facts: Quick answers to factual questions

Prerequisites

No API key needed — uses DuckDuckGo by default (free, no sign-up).

Optionally, get a free Brave Search API key at brave.com/search/api for better results.

Example Commands

  • "Search for the latest AI news"
  • "What's the weather in Delhi?"
  • "Look up Next.js app router documentation"
  • "Find the current population of India"
